In the summer of 2000, we (Scott and Beverly) purchased our first miniature donkeys.  It was love at first sight!   On our miniature farm they seemed to be the ideal animals.  We had tried other animals, but they just weren't      right for us.  In August, we purchased four miniature donkeys, and by October our numbers had grown to 10.       Our  goal is to have 10 to 12 brood jennets.  With that number, we feel like we can give each donkey the              maximum amount of love, care and attention that they deserve.  Scott is retired from a local utility company after 32 years of service.  Beverly is a Registered Nurse and is currently working at the local hospital.                           Beverly has always been the animal lover, but the miniature donkeys have won Scott's heart..  Our four                  grandchildren, Dustin, Hailee, Quin, and Hanna also enjoy the donkeys.
